A Hall of Fame Instructor
Had my first lesson since my regular riding instructor got back from her winter sojourn to the Cayman Islands. She came back sooner than normal as she and her husband had to attend a ceremony where they were inducted into the United Professional Horsemen’s Association Hall of Fame. They were inducted for their years (almost 40!) of involvement in the sport from training and instructing horses and students, to serving on boards, to judging competitions, to giving clinics and of course training world champions. They have been advocates and given so much to the sport it is nice to see them recognized. Plus I can now brag that I’m being taught by a Hall of Fame instructor.
