He's back!

Yes I am still alive and breathing. Hooray! I hope to update this a lot more than I have been (last entry was almost 3 months ago). Although, I'm sure none of you missed hearing my uninteresting babble. =P

Lots of things have happened, so I'm just going to give a brief list of things that I can remember:
- Leadership Clinic: Awesome, just like last year. I can't wait to go again. Dr. Tim is an awesome speaker!! I hope I can put some of his advise to practice.
- Guys & Dolls: Wow! That was really great. Despite my constant complaints about transposing my parts and having to drive out to Clintondale for 3+ hour rehearsals, I really had a lot of fun. Saturday was probably the best performance (Cathy and I actually played the opening duet in Havanna!! Go us!), and it was kinda sad to say goodbye to everyone. I hope to get involved in next year's show.
- Solo & Ensemble: 3 events.... again... oy! Why do I put myself through this torturous musical test of skill and nerves? Oh well, I manage every year. Good luck to all involved.

Yeah, that's about it. Today's been an interesting day. I left the house this morning a bit early so I could run the car for a few minutes. Little did I know what awaited me. The car windows didn't LOOK bad, but the ice on them would NOT COME OFF. It was so bad that I just turned off the car and had my Dad take me in. So, after piano today, my Dad and I took in the car for a quick heater fix and now, my car heats up 1000 times faster! WOOT!!!! No more freezing in the morning! YAY!

Tomorrow morning (5:30AM) is the peak of the Leonid meteor shower, acclaimed to be the biggest and best of the century. Of course, the forecast for southeast lower Michigan is clouds and possibly rain. Oh joy! It figures. Maybe it'll clear up and I'll see
something. After all, I have to get up early tomorrow morning for NHS!!! (evil!)

That is all. Good luck 'Advanced Comp'ers with your tests tomorrow. I'm sure I will fail.
