Do you find that, when you meet someone new of particular difference to yourself, you, without much control, start to emulate their mannerisms for a day or so? Then, if that behavior is received positively by others or you find it suiting to your personality, it is assimilated into your behavior?

(Met someone in physics lab of particular craziness. A Senior physics major. He said "Dude!" a lot.)
