Perseid meteors
I haven't posted in a long time, and although I'm well overdue, this is not the time for it. (So sorry to all those die-hard fans of my obsessively updated journal :P)
The Perseid meteor shower is here (well, soon). Might it be fun to go out to a cornfield someplace (a 20+ mile road area) and watch 'em? The peak is Wednesday night unto Thursday morning (11th and 12th). If anyone thinks this might be fun, COMMENT and let me know. We'd need snacks, and certainly some bug spray. (and of course, clear skies)
