Genealogy

Well, I'm nearly done with what I was doing this time on my genealogy pages, that is, adding links back to the parents for those people who I actually have pages for the parents (or just the parents' names if I don't have a separate page for them).. Though I'm really, really hating my Quaker relatives at this point, LOL.

I mean, did they have to continually marry into the same handful of families over and over again (and more to the point, did they have to keep marrying their own cousins over and over again)? Heck, there's several different distant relatives (not direct ones, thankfully) who married their own double first cousins... You'd think that there would be someone else around that they could marry.

Just one more family to get through on my dad's dad's side of the family, then I have to work on dad's mom's side. Then I get to start on the fun adding the pictures, records, and sources for various things to the site. Which will necessitate me going to one of the local libraries, at least, because I know I don't have some of the pages from one of the books anymore (and I'd like to copy the Quaker records wholesale into my laptop besides), so I can at least put down something besides "The Descendants of William and John Johnson of Virginia" as my source (or that book of my aunt's for that matter which she no longer owns).

I am glad I discovered that trick with the tag, though, it makes it handy for sticking a picture where I want it on the page without having text going over top of it.
