I love growing vegetables. Late in September I started a vegetable garden in my in-laws' yard. So far I have planted: radishes, carrots, onions, lettuce, spinach, beans, peas, chard, 3 types of squash, tomatoes, sunflowers, artichoke, potatoes, garlic and rosemary. They already had a few fruit trees: lemon, orange, lime, peach, plum, & apricot. So far I have successfully organically fought off white flies, aphids, leaf miners and caterpillars. I wish the weather was a bit less erratic. It would make the plants much happier. One day it is 85 and the next it is 65. Some of the plants tried to bolt during the last heat wave, I'm doing my best with them. I can't wait until Thanksgiving when we will bring in the first round of veggies, mostly salad stuff. Anyway, for those of you who care, pictures follow.
