Never, again, never, work all three shifts in one week! Monday, I did my usual 3-11 pm, Tuesday, I worked 10am - 5 pm, and tonight I work 11-7. Feels like I am unstuck in time, (stolen from what ever SciFi series you like best at the moment.)
I am on vacation after tonight's shift. The next two weekends in a row will see me camping with Scouts, and the week between will be dedicated to finishing some projects; both Scout and sewing.
I must report on my SG viewing. Thanks to
rosiewook and her lending of the DVD's, I have almost completed Season One. Thanks to several of you, who cautioned me that the first season was a bit "uneven" and "sketchy", I was waiting for the less than great episodes. I agree, but on the whole, very enjoyable. I hope that they don't resort to the "Alien virus /bacteria/ organism brought back from another planet that threatens to wipe us all out" scenario again. Not that it isn't a real possiblility in our own world, as zoonotic diseases continue to plague us, but using it as the main plot device over and over again gets tedious.
And yes, MS as Daniel is quite adorable. :-)
I have really enjoyed watching the eps after having seen so many of the cast at DragonCon. After seeing what a crazy man Christopher Judge seems like in person, I can't imagine how hard it was to play Teal'c, who frowns 99.99% of the time! That's acting!
OK, back to packing for camping trip #1.
p.s. Almost time to squee for the Red Sox again!
