I felt like drawing fan art today, so I did. I used to draw Jedi a lot when I was a kid. It was just something to do while bored in class. A lot of them were Asian girls because at the time in the movies there were no Asian Jedi and no female Jedi.

I referenced the body from a stock photo and vaguely modeled the face off of myself, which is why she looks hurlyburly and not glamorously pretty. I think if I was a cartoon I'd look kinda like that. oh well. With a big shiny sword covering the face it looks a lot better. I had a lot of fun messing with the lighting on this. Was really tempted to give her Leia-style Chinese hair bun things...
I think since she is burly and has black hair, her description kind of fits background character Octa Ramis from the New Jedi Order series. Or I guess Revan, like this one. Maybe I should draw more Star Wars fan art in this style. I still really love aimo's Revan sketch, though.
Should I illustrate another Star Wars character in this style, and if so, which one?
Jared showed me Romance of the Jedi today. He told me it was proof I had no gaydar. It's amazingly terrible. So there's that.

Me: There's no way to tell. It really depends on when other people sign off.

Me: ...O_o I'd say 10-15, but that's just an estimate.
