Update on editing Jedi

One of the toughest thing when fan editing any of the "Star Wars" films is tinkering with the sound. I've had to drop a few ideas due to the fact it was just too hard to manipulate. However, several things have worked in my favor. Using a laser disc rip of ROTJ, I restored the original musical sequence set in Jabba's Palace (albeit trimming it down considerably and color correcting it). Another major change was a conversation between Darth Vader and the Emperor, in which a redundant "He will come to you, and you will bring him before me" is spoken twice. Instead, I ended the scene with the Emperor commenting "his compassion for you will be his undoing", with Vader bowing and saying "Yes, Master" (lifted from elsewhere).

The most difficult bit was replacing Obi-Wan's name with Padmé's when Vader says "Obi-Wan once thought as you do." Well, from "Revenge of the Sith" we know that's not true and I really wanted to change it. Having Vader acknowledge Padmé also goes a long way to showing Anakin's personality reemerging. I'm also assuming Obi-Wan divulged info about Luke's mother to him after the big revelatory conversation on Dagobah (it was originally scripted for this to occur).

Anyway, I might post some of my changes up on YouTube for you guys to see what I've done.
