I've heard/read some crazy theories in my 23 years of being a Doctor Who fan. But the latest whirling around Karen Gillan's casting as the Eleventh Doctor's companion take the cake. For instance: she's a regenerated Donna; she's a young River Song; the show's going Twilight...

Now I'm all for the fun of speculating, but c'mon... my 7 year-old niece could come up with better ideas! Sheesh.
