Remembering
Mom and I rode over to Willacoochee early this morning to get the Christmas flowers from the cemetery. Surprisingly the ornaments we put on that little tree by the grave site were all still there! I just knew some of them must've fallen off and smashed in the wind. It was absolutely freezing out there! Brr.
Before we headed over there, we drove by my grandmother's old house to see if it had been sold (the person who bought it after she passed away 4 years ago has put it up for sale). This Wednesday would've been Mama-Ninna's 81st birthday, and it slap tore me up riding by the house. It's still unreal to me that she's no longer with us. I half expected Mom to drive up and Mama-Ninna would answer the door.
It was a nice day all the same, but I had an awful scare this evening when I got choked after supper! Thank goodness Mom was able to help me because I was close to blacking out. I'm better now, just got a raw throat.
