Yesterday was Mom's birthday and she had a nice 60th (despite some family drama in the evening, which I won't get into). I took her out to eat last night and got her a new curling iron (of all things!) which she'd been hinting around for.
I hope everyone had a good and safe Halloween. We didn't have any trick-or-treaters for the umpteenth year in a row, and just spent a quiet time at home.
Truth be told, it's been a rough week. Sleeping's haywire again and I'm gonna do my best to catch a nap here in a bit. I should have my next Doctor Who review up tomorrow, with bonus screen caps!
