Fantastic Four

Mom wanted to take in a movie before starting back on that old hot bus tomorrow (God I dread it for her) and we went to the $1 theatre and saw "Fantastic Four 2". Yay for the $1 theatre! Our local one closed down years ago (along with many of the drive in theatres, alas!) and many people were heartbroken to see it go... so many memories of hanging out there when we had lots of time and little money! I spent many light nights hanging out there or at Denny's or Lyon's. Hee, table for scads of people, most of whom were only getting sodas or water... but we did tip well, and please, it's not like they needed the table at two in the morning.... :D

Ha, I think I kind of hijacked your post for a trip down memory lane. But what I *meant* was, yay $1 theatre! I'm glad you (mostly) enjoyed the movie!

Hi cutie! Great to hear from you! You know, I've never even seen a picture of Billie's ex. Silver Surfer was good - and well worth it for the action sequences and the all too brief shot of shirtless Chris Evans - it just took a little while to get going.
