I don't know if it made me the fangirl I am today, mainly because I'm a slasher now (not only, but let's face it slash is a big part of me XD) and back then I wasn't at all (slash was introduced to me later with my manga period XD )
But surely, that was Star Wars that made me become a fangirl. I started reading fics, searching for fandom news, talking with fans thanks to Star Wars and it is still a very big part of me :)
