Doctor who 4x08 & 4x09
I don't really know what to say about those except that they are some of the best eps I've seen... I think I could put them into my top 5 (even I should rewatch all the seasons to rzally make my mind).
The second one (because I just watch it) was really intense... my heart was beating fast and I shouted at the TV (and at the writer) and I cried and I stayed 2 minutes in front of the black screen of the TV when the episode finished...
First impression : I think it the best episode in terms of visuals and esthetics... I don't know how it cost to make so muche special effects but really... all the views of the planet, the corpse statues with speaking faces, the skeletons in the cosmonaut suit, the hard drive, the elevator... I found it all really beautiful, perfectly done... it was like a movie...
the doctor was BRILLIANT...
I know he's often brilliant but there... he was like a perfect mix of all what make a dorctor great : emo, cute, hot, clever, running, using screwdriver, brainstorming, wanting to save all people without thinking of him...
River was great because she knows the doctor so much... she understands him so well and trusts him so much... I liked this relation because se trusts him but she is not blind... she knows that he has to be put on the right way sometimes XD
but... I don't want her as a companion ! I just wanted to say that... because I don't know if Moffat has already some plans for his first season, but I felt like he set up something and it was a bit weird...
I love all the part with Donna. Not treally Donna herself because it was a Lost!Donna, not the strong Donna we know...
but it was a great idea to show us her fake life like that with bounds in time, the doctor moon, the woman in black...
I love the way it ended with the doctor. Both holding hands, emo but trying to be strong and being there for each other... it may sound stupid but I think of the winchester bros at that time XD it was the feeling that the other will always be there...
I love the little girl and all her story... I found it so sad... and the kid was really playing well..; when she starts crying and asking for some help... it was really hardto see her like that.
Oh... I love the end when the doctor snapped his fingers to open the tardis XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD with the litthe magical sound XDDDDDD
now... the only global impression I had from all of that was : DOOM DOOM DOOM lol
and now I'm off to finish Hairspray... Ô Zac, I had almost forgotten how gay you are XD
