Eventful Morning

Never before has this icon been more appropriate.  Last night, after work, Debbie and I went to go see the late night movie that started at 11:00.  Since the movie was Pirates 2, it obviously didn't get out until well after 1:00.  I went to bed at about 2:00, and was supposed to be waking up at about 10:00 to get ready for work.  Supposed to being ( Read more... )

Check your car battery. Actually, check the clock first. If your battery is low or got disconnected somehow, it will be like when the power goes out for anything. Like a digital clock for example. You have to reset the time and all that crap.

If the clock is correct, though, it could just be something funky happened to the radio.

I checked the clock, and the time was definitely off. What do you think I should do now?

Call your dad. He'll probably tell you to take the car to auto parts store and have them check the battery and the connections.

Or, if you don't have any driving to do during the week, he could just check it when you get home. As long as the battery stays connected the car won't stall after it gets started.

By the way, a quick and easy way to check to see if your battery is getting low is to look at the headlights. If they're dimmer than normal, you might be getting low. The headlights are just like a flashlight, if the batteries are low, the beam gets dimmer.
