I am not in the best mood today. Maria's irritating me and Debbie's acting like a child and giving me the silent treatment. Thankfully, Maria went home and Debbie's ignoring me, so at least this means that I might actually get some sort of work done today. Also, I got this lovely notice in the mail:
Candace Fox,
We would like to remind you that you currently have a late fee of $22 at FliX. Please come in as soon as possible to resolve this matter. If you have not contacted us with regards to this issue within one week, we will be forced to take further action. If you have any questions or concerns please email us at flix@flixfirst.com.
Thank you,
FliX Corporation Management
That really made my day. First of all, I couldn't even remember the last time that I rented a movie from there, and this is the first time I got any sort of notice. Remind me? I think not. More like tell me for the first time ever and piss me off. I went, and the guy said that it was from 2 movies that I rented last March. LAST MARCH!!!!!! And this is the first time I've heard of it. Why was I not made aware of this before now? It's been over a year, and I've definitely rented movies from there since then. The guy also said that the movies were each 11 days late. There is no way that I would ever in a million years return anything that late. The Welcome Desk probably just didn't remember to give the movies back to FliX, which has happened to me before, but never on this scale. And the guy also told me that they are talking to lawyers. Well, there's no way in hell that I'm going to get sued over $22. So I just paid them their stupid movies, and from now on, someone else can check out the movies on their card, because I'm not going to have this happen to me again. And the best part was that I didn't even like either of the movies. Maybe it would have been a little less annoying if I had actually liked them, but no, they had to be stupid movies that I felt that I wasted my money on just by renting them, and now I had to pay way more. GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've said this recently, but now I really, really mean it. I absolutely positively cannot wait until the end of this semester. I would rather deal with the idiots I work with and have to deal with on the phone than having to deal with this crap on top of school work.
