Well, I just registered for my classes. I got on the waitlist for ASL, so hopefully I'll get in. I decided to register for Spanish too, just in case. I don't really want to take it, but I know I'll have a bunch of resources, plus it will be good for my major, since there are a lot of ESL students in special education. I'm also taking biology (gag - the only good thing is that Maria promises that it's easy, and that there's no dissections), since that's what the state wants, and my advisors don't want me to get in trouble with the state, and 3 special education classes, 1 of them a tutorial, so I don't have to actually retake the one class that I didn't get a good grade in, and have the same teacher. So, here's my schedule:

Spanish 101 MWF 8:30-9:20
ECSPED: Curriculum Practices W 7:00-9:30 (that's the tutorial)
Biology Lecture TR 1:00-1:50
Biology Lab T 8:30-10:20
Play & Its Role in Dev T 4:30-6:55
Curriculum Practices: Mild Disabilities R 4:15-6:45

As you can see, my schedule's all over the place. And if I get in to ASL, it's going to be Mondays 4:00-6:15. And somehow, I get to fit almost 70 hours of observation in there. Oh boy, sounds like a lot of fun. Not. Oh, and I also get to take the Praxis in September, and apply for student teaching. My life is going to be joyous. Don't be surprised if I almost have a nervous breakdown come the middle of the semester.

Also, here are my 2 summer classes, which go from June 12-July 13:
Developmentally Appropriate Instructional Materials MTWR 9:35-11:30
Classroom Management MTWR 1:45-3:40

Hopefully I'm going to be able to get on-campus housing in the freshman dorm. I don't really like it there, but it's better than nothing, and will only cost $70/wk.
