So, I didn't get a whole lot of homework done yesterday...but I did go to Rockin' Rudys.
They have a whole section of 25 cent cds...or 5 for a dollar...so I got ten. Haven't heard of any of the bands, but I think i got a pretty good mix of techno, ska, punk, maybe bluegrass...what the hell, I really don't know what any of it is like, all I know is that I paid 20 cents per cd. I already listened to one of the techno/trance ones and it was pretty good.
Moreover, I also picked up a $10 copy of Blood, Sweat, and Tears 3, which is FRICKIN' AWESOME. and the priciest one, coming in at $16, the new Arrested Development cd, "Since the Last Time." (nothing to do with the tv show, if that's what you're thinking...and if that's what you're thinking, because you've never heard of Arrested Development, i suggest you hire someone to expand your musical taste...may i suggest me? how awesome would it be to get paid to criticize someone's musical choice? a la queer eye for the straight guy...queer ear? no... i dunno, i'll come up with something)
and so far, i'm likin' this album, too...a different feel from some of their previous music, but that's what happens when you don't release a cd in twenty years or whatever
so yeah, i'm psyched about enjoying some new tunes...also got a hellalot of work to do, so i'm out
