Found a good one for Colorado...
From the Christmasish 2006 Blizzard that closed I-25, I-70, and took all the food out of King Soopers for Christmas. This blizzard was super bad-ass -- one of the best I've seen in my lifetime (sadly I was on literally the last flight out of DIA in April 2003 and missed that one, though I remember how terrible the roads were getting to the airport).
