the fjord!
So Dawn, Nick, and I jumped into the fjord tonight. Thusly, I have completed the Four Oceans Challenge, having now swum in all four of the world's oceans. Granted, I was in the Arctic Ocean for about 20 seconds, if even that, because the fjord was unbelievably cold. I mean really, really cold. Colder than a mountain lake in Colorado. Also unbelievably clear - 8m down and we could see the ocean floor like it was the surface.
So. I jumped in, and then flailed my way back out, all in a bikini. Probably going to do it again too... What a wonderful feeling.
