Gah, I have had the most stressful day ever.
It starts off late last night / early this morning as I check my bank account. It seems there's some money that's been taken out by Tesco Direct. I don't shop at Tesco. Odd.
Up for work, then a bit of shopping. Getting my parcel delivery slip thing from Claire's was my biggest worry of the day, but it seemed to go off without a hitch. Then a quick and nice lunch with Tim, before off to the Post Office to collect my House Season 1 DVD. After a few wrong turns, some creative driving and two helpful pharmacists who gave me directions, I arrive to find that someone called "James" has already collected my package. Weird, since when I phoned them they said you couldn't collect it unless you had the delivery slip thing, the reason I had to go into Claire's house. So I assume Claire's brother James has gone into the house, maybe they delivered before and left another slip, iunno. Then, on the way home, it hits me; he's probably still in Canada. Shit. Who the hell has my house :(
Not a whole lot I can do, so it's off to town to get some DVD cases for my Chinese DVDs. After parking and walking for about 10 minutes, I reaslise I've forgotten to put money in the machine. Then I notice the Traffic Wardens. Shit. Again. I run back to the car to find one of them writting a ticket. Oh Shit. So, a quick £1 in the machine, grab the sticker and run over. I explain, he believes me (yay), and I have a small coronary as my heart rate slows down. I dander back into town. However, I did get some DVD covers and some DVDs, so yay.
Now I'm back, and trying to relax. I have to go to the bank tomorrow and fill in a dispute form, as well as figure out where the hell my house DVD has gone.
I hope Claire gets my text and tells me her brother got it and is watching it or something. I hate not having a postal address.
On the bright side, House amuses me and he makes sarcasm cool again. Maybe it'll catch on. I also have more ingredients to make scones and rice crispy squares. Double Yay.
