Oh! It's so romantic!

A meme stolen from the ever-wonderful joanne_cComment with a fandom, character, or pairing or grouping, and I'll respond with a title, summary, (and possibly an excerpt) for the Bad Romance Novel inspired by it. (Expect to see romantic bastardizations of names, nonsensical gender-bending, and purple prose.) Then, post this meme to your journal and do the ( Read more... )

Since everyone else is being exceptionally cruel and choosing shows you don't/didn't watch, I'm going to give you a slow ball across the plate:

Giles/Ethan/Mr. Gordo

Or you can tell a romantic tale from Hogwarts starring:

Hagrid/Buckbeak/Professor Trelawney/Dobby the House Elf

Have fun!

I tried writing them once before, and it somehow morphed into Dumbledore/Umbridge smut. I'm still traumatized! No more Dumbledore fic-writing for me! *laughing*

The mere thought of Dumbledore/Umbridge smut terrifies me...and I wrote Drunk!Riley/Spike in Drag and Giles/Lunchlady from Earshot!

The only time I truly squicked myself was when writing Giles/Sid the Dummy. Actually, I need to qualify that: I did write G/Sid UST and supermom15 challenged me to do a smutty sequel. I tried--truly I did--but graphic sex with a wooden life form was just too much for me. (Of course, I never tried Giles/Lunch Lady, so I think you win there.)

You are far too kind to me. Really. I don't deserve you.... *laughing*

Title: Porcine Passion
Summary: Mr. Gordo is fearless, loving freely and with a feckless belief that his love will always be returned. Giles is cautious, but unshakably loyal once he's given his heart. Ethan is neither of things, though his two lovers sometimes make him wish that he could be different.

ExcerptWhen he came to bed, Giles and Mr. Gordo were already asleep, tangled together in the sheets. Ethan bit back the bitter taste of jealousy, knowing that it was unwarranted. They hadn't meant to cut him out--both of them loved him unconditionally--but he felt excluded all the same ( ... )

(giggles helplessly)

Oh my darling, this is making me feel so much better! ROTFLMAO!

Beyond awesome! I can see Giles lying there, sated with porcine passion, and Ethan hovering jealously over them.

If you ever feel like writing the whole thing, you'll have at least one eager reader.

(smooches you...through a protective mask so you don't get this damn whooping cough)

*huge grin* I'm so glad you liked it. It stumped me for a bit, but I kind of liked how it turned out.

Actually a couple of these have turned out well enough to support a fic. It turns out I am THE QUEEN OF PURPLE PROSE! Who knew? Don't answer that...
