I've been collecting Big Finish audio plays because eBay is my evil enabler and the internet makes it way too easy to buy things from England. I'm really enjoying them, particularly now that the weather is starting to get warmer. If my children must roust me away from my computer, it's a comfort to get a fannish fix on my iPod while the kids play at the park. Today I listened to the BBC7 play, "Blood of the Daleks." Is is just me, or does Lucie Miller bear a strong resemblance to Vicki Pollard? The story was just okay, but the Doctor saying "WhatEVA!" is going to amuse me for a good long time.

As long as I'm on the subject, I've enjoyed almost all the Seven plays, despite their bad reputation in fandom. The one exception is "Dreamtime." It's a cool concept, and it's the first off-world trip for a character that I like an awful lot, but I just can't seem to finish it. Does it get better?
