House rec
Wow, LJ is being obnoxious today! If you can access it, I have a House/Cuddy rec that will take away all your LJ-induced pain. queenzulu has tapped into House's mischief and Cuddy's snark with the wonderful I Saw Her Today at a Reception. Despite House's random thoughts, it never goes beyond what we see on the show. It's mostly House pissing Cuddy off and imagining possible reactions, as he himself muses at one point:
If Cuddy gets mad enough, she might just leap on him in a sexual frenzy. He's seen it happen on The O.C., and he'll never stop hoping that real life will live up to television's promises.
In other news, I've finally figured out the hook for my yuletide story. I mean, I knew where I wanted to go, I just didn't know where to start. Dedicated stalking of my recipient, however, has yielded an unexpected fic kink that works very well with the three characters she wants to see. I'm now ready to rewatch the source material and get cracking on it.
