Think of all your ships! Now assign them a category such as "MOST LIFE RUINING SHIP"/"MOST SURPRISINGLY FUNCTIONAL SHIP" etc. Find a gif/picture and go!
I decided to limit myself to ten ships, but then decided I would try this whole gif thing out for once.
Most “Father’s Love My Ass” Ship

You know, to this day I have never watched the end of BtVS, I wonder if subconsciously I don’t want to admit that these two never get together (in truth it has more to do with hating Spike so VERY VERY much by that point, but it’s hard to disprove possible subconscious reasons).

Honestly, if could hook my headcanon up to the TV and you see how amazing these two are in that world you’d totally ship it too. As is I’ll have to settle for trying to talk you into it and trying (and usually failing) to write fanfic about them.

What else can I say about these two at this point? They are the most amazing pairing ever and I will never be truly satisfied with the way their story ended. Those are my thoughts and feelings, feel free to have your own but I’m free to think those other thoughts are wrong thoughts.
Most “And I Had Done So Well Avoiding Shipping On This Show Until Now” Ship

For a show so mired in shipping drama I really didn’t latch on to any of it for a really long time. Even these two at first were just another ship that casually interested me, at least as far as I was aware of. And then the last few episodes came along and I was forced to realize that I DID have a ship after all, probably had for a while, and it is BEAUTIFUL and WONDERFUL and it’s eating my brain.
Most “Look, I Never Go For The Bad Boys, But...” Ship
Guy/Marian
If you look at this list there is a decided lack of bad boys represented, and that’s because it’s not really a character type I typically go for. Good guys with a slight dark edge sure, the occasional morally grey figure, but not the bod boys. And then there’s Guy and suddenly I start using all those arguments about the redemptive power of love that I usually dislike other ships using. Such is the power of Guy/Marian.
Most “Never Gonna Give You Up” Ship

Yes, I’m Rick Rolling myself to properly express the fact that even if I’m not paying attention to HP anymore this ship lives on in my heart.

Most “Even As A 12-year-old I Shipped Interspecies Romance” Ship

They may not have been my first ship, but they taught me the meaning of the word, probably before I’d ever heard it. They are simply love.
Most “I Only Care About This Version Of Them” Ship

I don’t read the comics, never really cared for the movies and stopped watching Smallville before they really became a thing (so I still live in a land of shipping Clex and Chlark and kind of hating SV-Lois) but THESE TWO, I have never outgrown this ship, and sort of watch it with adult-me and 12-year-old-me side by side and both loving these two together.
Most “Didn’t They Invent The Term Shipping?” Ship

Okay maybe TXF fandom didn’t invent the term (maybe they did, I really don’t know) but they sure made it their own in the war between shippers and noromos. These two are just...they’re Mulder and Scully, Scully and Mulder, there’s just not one without the other.
