Part 1 includes further background.
#08 - Cold
She already hated winter nights when Daniel was off world, it seemed too cold to sleep in their bed alone now.
#47 - Highway
The roads outside are iced over so a lot of people are sleeping on base tonight, including Daniel and Rose who curled tightly together on a single bunk.
#19 - Candle
They seldom had enough of a schedule to make plans for an evening out, but take-out by candle light at their kitchen table was just as good.
#28 - Forgotten
It seemed everybody but Jack and Teal’c had forgotten that they’d already had this meeting four times, but then Rose Tyler walked in and said, “Please tell me that you guys have realized we keep reliving the last few hours, Torchwood hasn’t figured anything out yet and it doesn’t help that I have to keep explaining things;” - Jack had never been so happy to see Daniel’s girlfriend.
#37 - Lies
While they circled around in time Rose had to stop keeping her own past under secrets and lies to offer any idea why she was aware that they were going in circles, the shirt to truth seemed to finally win Jack over and they were almost friends by the time they solved the problem.
#48 - Unknown
Daniel suspected he would never know the whole story of what had happened during the repeated time, but he did get to enjoy that his girlfriend and best friend liked each other now.
#02 - Hero
It seems that they always have to save each other from some danger or another, but he’s started to realize he’d rather be the one in need of saving than have to be the hero.
#10 - Drink
She’s still shaking from the cold when Daniel passes her a warm drink, which she realizes as she drinks it is tea rather than coffee and she feels warmer from that knowledge than the drink.
#17 - Promise
“You know, I used to think it was okay not to tell someone you loved them as long as you always showed them, but that turned out not to be the greatest plan ever,” she said with a bit of bitterness, but then smiled before finishing, “so this time it will be show and tell.”
#01 - Ring
He had planned to get a ring and take her out to a fancy restaurant when he did ask her, but instead as she clung to him after the Unas were gone he whispered, “Marry me?” and she still said yes before snogging him senseless.
#34 - Formal
Jackson and Tyler’s relationship was definitely a grey area of regulations, had either of them been military it would have been Hammond’s duty to try and stop it, but even though others disapproved he smiled like a proud father when they announced their engagement.
#04 - Box
“I already said yes,” she said with a huge smile when Daniel placed a ring sized box next to her on the pillow.
#03 - Memory
“I saw you in my dreams you know,” he explained, “even when I couldn’t remember much of anything I felt that you were waiting for me.”
#49 - Lock
Rose knew it was crazy, after all she had never resented the fact that Daniel had been married before her, but meeting his old girlfriend still brought up petty feelings she couldn’t escape from.
#15 - Silk
Neither of them wanted the extravagant wedding Jackie was almost certainly going to plan for them, but they didn’t have time to do the planning themselves, so they just accepted that that was how it would be.
#18 - Dream
He wakes up from the nightmare to find Rose awake and gently holding his hand and even in the dim light of the moon outside he can read her expression, that she knows it wasn’t just a nightmare but a memory.
#40 - Whisper
“I won’t make you talk about it, but I’m always here,” she whispered as she held his hand close to her heart; they’d both seen and experienced too many horrors in their lives already but at least they had each other.
#46 - Gravity
There was a symbol on the warning from the future that Daniel asked Rose about, and she stared at it for a long time because it was in Galifreyan; she had never learned to read the Doctor’s language, but it did mean the future-her had actually agreed to messing about in time for this.
#14 - Music
There was no getting out of it, it was past time for Daniel to face the music and tell his former in-laws that he already planned to remarry.
#32 - Farewells
Rose looked on as Daniel said goodbye to Sha’re’s son, letting go of that final piece of his first wife would probably be good for their relationship in the long run, but Rose understood how much it hurt Daniel to do so.
#39 - Overwhelmed
Jack on one side and Rose on the other the managed to snap Daniel out of it long enough to get him off the ledge; “What’s happening?” he asked when he looked and saw the panic written on his fiancée’s face.
#43 - Search
“Daniel, rescue mission,’ Jack called Daniel back to reality after Rose had kissed him goodbye, he shook the glazed look out of his expression and replaced it with a doofy grin that Jack figured he could live with.
#22 - Journey
“Good work with blowing up the sun Sam, but my wedding is in a month and I don’t think Jackie will accept ‘shot to another galaxy’ as a reason to miss it.”
#27 - Fall
As impossible as it had ever been, Mickey knew it was only falling for Daniel that had slowed and then stopped Rose’s search for a way back to the Doctor; now Mickey had to wonder what would happen if ever did become possible.
#42 - Talk
There were things they couldn’t bring themselves to talk about, like what would happen to either of them if they were to have to move on again.
#16 - Cover
“You two have got to be the worst secret agents ever,” Jackie said when they couldn’t even try to explain why Daniel was in Rose’s bedroom though they had said they were spending the last few nights before the wedding apart.
#36 - Laugh
“And that’s why I like living in America these days,” Rose laughed when she saw that the London tabloids were speculating about her and Daniel’s wedding; “well, among other things,” she added as she kissed him.
#25 - Mask
He tries not to show how much it effects him when Pete slaps him on the shoulder and says “Welcome to the family son.”
#30 - Body
“So, getting cold feet yet?” Jack asked; Daniel shook his head, his feet were still quite warm.
#44 - Hope
She can only hope that somehow, someway, in the other universe the Doctor knows that she’s happy and that her life is completely fantastic.
#41 - Wait
Three year old Trevor Tyler made an adorable ring bearer as Daniel waited for Rose to make her appearance.
#31 - Sacred
The ‘til death do us part’ portion of the vows makes her a little nervous as it’s all too likely in their lives.
#38 - Forever
Perhaps a dozen people watching know just how much it means when she says “I love you Daniel, always and forever.”
#33 - World
They were supposed to be on their honeymoon, so both of their cell phones ringing at once must mean the world was ending; typical.
#50 - Breathe
Janet said Rose would be fine, but Daniel stayed at her bedside, always watching her breathing until she woke up and old him get some sleep.
#06 - Hurricane
Quickies at work were right out, but as soon as they arrived home their clothes were off as fast as if the wind had taken them.
#24 - Strength
He’d seen her off on missions before, but now that they’re married it seemed harder to let her go, but he shouldered that burden, knowing that she had to do the same for him.
#23 - Fire
A campfire, surrounded by friends, his wife’s head resting on his shoulder, on world a hundred light years from Earth after a day studying the mysterious ancient ruins, Daniel couldn’t really imagine a life better than this.
#35 - Fever
“How come you never seem to get sick?” he asked Rose as she came in with tea, which she insisted was better for his cold than coffee.
#05 - Run
If the announcement went out that SG-1 was coming in hot, no matter how far she was from the control room Rose was always one of the first to arrive.
#20 - Talent
He never really understood why Rose could understand almost any language, Mickey couldn’t do it and supposedly he had traveled the stars the same way Rose had, but Daniel was always grateful for it because it was what had brought them together.
#07 - Wings
He knows that she loves traveling the stars even more than he does; and as dangerous as it is, he hopes nothing is ever able to clip her wings.
#12 - Temptation
It’s always so tempting to ignore that alarm clock in the morning, but duty calls and they always answer.
#29 - Dance
She had been trying to teach Daniel about the culture she’d been studying who communicated through physical movement, but instead he pulled her into a slow dance to silent music, and she had no desire to go back to teaching.
#11 - Midnight
He was half asleep but he heard her giggle as she slid into bed next to him, “Of course I rush home in the middle of the night and you’re already asleep,” then he fell fully asleep know she was home and safe beside him.
#09 - Red
Jack still called Daniel a dork sometimes, partly because he was and partly to watch him turn red when Rose threw her arms around him and called him a sexy dork.
#21 - Silence
Rose had two bothers under the age of four and had repeatedly told her mother that she and Daniel weren’t looking to have kids any time soon, but none of that seemed to quiet Jackie on the subject of asking when they planned to make her a grandmother.
#13 - View
She could see him off and be there when he came back, and usually know where he was even if it was across the galaxy, she wondered how spouses who couldn’t do all that dealt with the fear, it was hard enough for her.
#45 - Eclipse
The British representative announced that the British Republic would be cutting off joint ventures with the Americans for the foreseeable future, and no matter how many people in the room agreed with it, they were overwhelmed by the two people most caught in the middle demanding to know how stupid the politicians were.
#26 - Ice
Her look as the negotiators left was as cold as ice and hard as steel, but she melted into Daniel’s arms as soon as they were alone, and all he could offer was uncertain comfort by repeating “It’ll be okay,” as she cried.
