As you may know I am avoiding spoilers for DT's final episodes like the plague, aside from knowing that he's leaving (sad) I want to let RTD beat my heart to a bloody pulp and be surprised about it.
Season 5 spoilers on the other hand, seem to be another matter, because that's how little I care about Moffat's Who already. Of course I'm not planning to watch it, so I'm not sure if that makes them spoilers or not.
You know, I've been trying to spin Moff's "Little girls will want to be her. Little boys will want them to be her too" in a positive light. Because on some level I think that if another writer had said it (not that they necessarily *would* have said it) it could have come off better.
But apparently I *can't* find the positive spin on it, it just comes off douchey. I might have given other writers the benefit of the doubt and thought they meant something more less offensive even if it didn't come out well, but it's Moffat, he meant it to be every bit as sexist as it sounds I'm sure, and has no concept of how badly it comes off.
