Gordon used that line and I like it so much I had to use it. Not that it's entirely accurate about my day. I mean there was Mayhem and the pursuit of happiness, but no murder. Unless of course you consider that I likely stepped on at least one ant. That and I had chicken in my lunch and hamburger in my dinner. Animals were killed at some point to provide my happiness today!
They day went extremly well! I'm really tired anyway. Oh well, life keeps marching on.
I got a surprise today! Beth Uno randomly decided to come by and have lunch with me. That so shocked and cheered me up! It was great. She came and played with my kids for a bit and then we went out to Who Song's and Larry's for lunch. Her Dad, her sister Kristin, and her all work there. I liked the food. I'd never been there before, and to be honest it's a bit pricey for me, but today the price was just right. We had her discount, and then she paid! Prolly won't let her do that again, but I felt very special that she did it once! It was good to talk, laugh, catch up, and eat quality Mexican food.
Rachel also came by and played with the kids and I. That was great! I got double friendship treats today. Twas fantastic. She told me she wasn't sure how I pulled it off every day, and she only spent about an hour with the crazy kids! Rachel ended up going home with me, having dinner with my family, and we read through Hosea and Joel together. Good times.
Tonight, I'm just really spacey. I had all sorts of things I wanted to do, but I'm tired. So I'm not getting much done. Oh well. There are those nights.
