New Year's Eve
So, last night was New Year's Eve. I figure I'll let you all know the very stupid decisions I made last night due to my friend, The Green Fairy.
-Using a traffic cone as a beer bong. . .and letting like five people throw whatever was in their cup into it. Beer, rum, vodka and absinthe don't mix very well, kids! (I miraculously made it out without puking, however!)
-Jumping onto several pallets that were on fire in the middle of a bonfire. . .and stood there for thirty second before falling off.
-Driving home when I was half-asleep (Not from Gainesville. Just from Mike's house).
-Ripping Kevin's jacket while I tried to throw a tree into the bonfire. (I'm so sorry, dude!)
-Throwing trees into bonfires without gloves. HOORAY SPLINTERS!
-Drinking a bottle of champagne (That one's for you, Heather!). . .after doing the absinthe and the aforementioned beer cone.
-Laying down in a field. YEAH DIRT! *grumble*
And yet, even with all of those stupid decisions, I did make one awesome one. And because of that one decision, along with being with some of my best friends in the world, this New Year's turned out to be my best ever! A HUGE thanks to Travis and Jasmine for the bitchin' party.
I just hope last night was just a taste of the potential awesomeness of 2009! For those of you I didn't see, I hope your New Year's was as good as mine and if it wasn't, don't let that get you down! There's still 364 days left to make the best of this year!
