Back in the US of A!!!
I'm back!!! The flight was long, but I was flying business and had an overnight layover in Frankfurt so it wasn't so bad. I ended up having to leave a bunch of stuff, including my Dad's Father's day gift and Darth Tater. Just no room in the suitcase at all!! Mostly because the packers managed to miss a few things so I had to bring them with me and also because um, well, I might have overestimated how much room in my suitcase I had. Oh well. Sigh....
Other than a minor panic attack with the thought of Houdini running off (I had cleaners in my house at 8am because ZOMG the temporary guy was coming to my house and don't you think he should have a clean house *rolls eyes) because the cleaners were leaving the doors and windows open as they were cleaning. But he was simply hiding under a couch and eventually I managed to catch him. The kitties are fine, they took the trip really well. And now I'm settled in the Residence Inn which treats me insanely well. :D
It's weird, cuz I don't think it's completely sunk in that I won't be going back to Tripoli. Like I still have to go back after my training. I don't, and I won't, but it hasn't completely sunk in. Dude, it still hasn't completely sunk in that I'm not *in* Tripoli. Except that the driving is much better and there's green and they all speak english and there's so many products at the store! Shut up, my big brother already made fun of me last night that I couldn't make a decision over hair mousse.
As I said, I'm at the Residence Inn and right now I don't have cell phone but I'll put out a post for all your numbers again, if you wanna gimme 'em since I'm not sure I have anyone's anymore, in another screen locked post, or maybe not locked. Whatever. I'll do that when not jetlagged.
