Only 4 more days left...
I'm packed! Poor R and Onci had to listen to my panick over it. Actually, I think everyone heard my panick over it if you caught me on IM or the phone in the last 2 weeks, but Onci and especially poor R took the brunt of it. You'd think after 6 moves in 6 years, and man that's freakin' insane right there, I'd be down with it? But no, I do this everytime I'm moving continents. I completely panick at the idea of moving all my stuff. Which is stupid, because it's not like I have to physically move it, I just have to organize it. *sigh* When I get married, my spouse is totally in charge of the moving. That's one of the job qualifications, organize international move, because I can barely pack me and two cats, let alone an entire family.
Anyway, I'm all packed out, except what I have in my suitcase and the stuff the movers forgot. Like an entire drawer of stuff and my ice cream maker. *rolls eyes* And Darth Tater, but that wasn't the movers fault, he was still hanging at work. So yes, all that stuff too. But that's all right, I just have to find a box today and mail it to myself. The nice thing about being in charge of communication (which includes mail) is that they'll totally hold it for me. :D
While SPN fandom is once again eating itself alive, I've managed to hang out with Torchwood. I'm not really into the fandom and I don't plan on writing any stories but they're a nice fun campy read. Which is exactly what I need after two years of crap IRL. I've also been trying to come up with something for Leverage, I've got lots of ideas but I can't *quite* get the snappy dialog right. Hmph....just means watching more Aldis Hodge and Chris Kane. Oh bummer, what a shame.
I'll be in the States on July 7th, but I won't have my cell phone with me. That um, seems to have taken a walk, but I'm at the same place as I was in September if you need to get ahold of me. I'll probably have a replacement by Monday or Tuesday but not before then. Sorry.
