So today was my last day of high school.
w00t.
As Vincent has stated elsewhere, it doesn't feel any different.
We did end the year on a pretty kickass note as Vincent, Cicco, and I circled the parking lot in Vin's Lebaron convertible blasting "Do You Hear The People Sing?" from Les Mis and flying a rather large Triad banner.
Later, after taking a nap which featured one of the strangest, most surreal dreams I've ever had (perhaps I'll recount it later), Vincent and I made some hard tack as an initial step towards eventually trekking the Northville-Placid Trail, a chunk of one of the most famous trail systems in the US. Features of note include lakes Piseco and Silver. I've been to Piseco, it's a pretty peaceful place. Siler Lake is supposed to be much more tranquil. The hard tack came out pretty well for a first effort, in the future we'll roll it more thinly for a better consistency.
Krista and I had an interesting day yesterday. There was some crying, some unpleasantness, and eventually the mutual realization that we mean more to each other than we had previously suspected. It all worked out for the better, I think, and I'm looking forward to summer. I love you, Krista, and I'm glad we'll be together for as long as we can manage... college will be probably the biggest obstacle we'll face, but if we can come through, we'll know it was meant to be. I think we can do it. :)
On that optimistic note, I'll end today's entry. Tomorrow will feature me getting multiple shots for college purposes and picking up a few supplies for the ultra-secret project Knudsen and I are working on.
