Hem hem! The following is a meditation on what the sacrifice was in "Sacrifice" and why I personally was not as surprised by what happened as I could otherwise have been.
(NOTE!!! There's also a very sexy black & white shot of Anakin in this post that perhaps is not wise to open at work. Nothing's showing but he ain't wearin' nothin'. The angle is such that the plumbing isn't seen but a looooong expanse of 6 pack abs, pecks, beautiful arms and thighs... With thick hair you could dive into & make a nest in.)
