So in a little less than 36 hours, I will be back in Japan. After four
years of not being in Japan, four years of gradual crushing and
compacting of the Japan Desire into a Superman-squeezed diamond of
longing in my duodenum, I will be back, somewhat jetlagged and feeling
like
this.
But at least I'm flying out of Seatac, so it's only a 10.5 hour flight
as opposed to the nightmare gauntlet one must endure when travelling
from the East Coast. Plus, one of my friends is a flight attendant and
is trying to get me an upgrade to business class, where I will be able
to stretch out, plug in my laptop, and watch the rest of season three
of Voyager or go all retro and play Diablo 2.
I am planning on getting
this camera
once I arrive in Japan, primarily because the it it black and the
equivalent US model only comes in silver. Tsumaranai. It takes
phenomenal video and passable 4 megapixel still shots, so I plan to be
updating a multimedia travelogue once I find a place to host all my
crap for cheap or free.
OK, I must finish packing.
