Right back where we started from...
Today was a day full of ponders due to me being tired. I worked from 1 pm till 1am last night. Stupid Christmas floor plans! GRRRRRR Worked 8am till 3pm today. I am on a 7 hour break now an go back at 10 and stay till 2am because we are getting our carpets cleaned and I have to sit up there. GAY! Good thing I'm off tomorrow.
Ok... this customer came to my store today to check on an order. I asked for his reciept to check it out and the name said James Burgess. I thought it was a little faded and couldn't be right so I asked for his name. Sure enough, he said James Burgess. I couldn't resist so I told him that my name is Jamie Burgess and that this was a little werid for me. I then asked if he was me from the future. He then replied by asking me if I was him from the past! AHAHAHAHAHA
I came home and got ready for my big night of watching THE OC! It's funny how 6 months ago, at my apartment with a group of people there for OC night... we all didn't know what we would do for 6 months until the new season started. Well, let's recap shall we:
June approached and the Summer warmness began. What do I do... I go to Colorado for a week where it snowed 2 out of 7 days. I get back and work a week at Nextel until, on the day before my next vacation, I get fired. What do I do... I drive to Tally that night, get a flat tire, bum a ride to Tally with strangers, leave my car in Blountstown, and have Brandon take me to the airport where I flew to California and had a great time for a week. I came back and had a nice birthday party for me and a huge birthday party for Steve.I am unemployed for a whole month and a half, while getting some checks from Nextel still, and eventually get a new job at FYE when the Olympics start. My lease runs out in August and I choose to move into my parent's house so that I can save money for school. Little do I know, this decision would break up the party group and nothing is ever the same again.
Now... in watching the OC tonight, I realized how similar my summer was to the characters on the show. HMMMMMM, I run away after losing my job and then move out of my apartment and it seems to cause everything to change. Kind of like Ryan and Seth leaving perhaps?? Let's face it folks... the OC is back and so will old times... eventually. One thing has remained the same... No one has snatched me up yet! I have a feeling things are going to get better for all of us! AHAHAHAHAHA well, off to work to sit and watch the carpets get cleaned... then who knows?
