a love that will last
i've been feeling nostalgic and detached lately, lost in daydreams. this new job of mine actually gives me a whole lot of time to think about things...life, God, love, family, friends, hobbies, books, art, and poetry. i've been influenced by music a lot lately and fascinated by how an artist can capture a feeling through notes and lyrics. songs can easily become the soundtrack---the background music---to my life. i've therefore been feeling lots of things and found a tiny comfort in knowing other people have felt the same way. perhaps this is a quiet reflective season for me in my life journey. it sure feels that way.
