Bob Dylan. Was. Amazing.
he was great
he was so so so so great
we had awesome seats, 18th row, but what sucked balls was that we were right on the very end of the row so the security were right there and i got yelled at several times for attempting to take pictures and call people. so im sorry to those of you who i said i would call, i couldn't (tianna, zoe). i got one picture of him but its small and blurry. its still him!!
anyway, the show was so good. he opened with Maggie's Farm, went on to play She's An Artist, Simple Twist of Fate, some songs from Modern Times, i can't recall what the names are, Highway 61, Tangled Up In Blue, Like A Rolling Stone ( of course ) and All Along The Watchtower. thats all i can remember, he played a couple others.
he didn't talk at all
except to introduce the band
and he didn't really sing, i suppose because he couldn't, but he changed up the rhythm of the songs so much you couldn't tell what it was unless you listened to the lyrics. so that was okay.
his voice was the same old bob, just a bit raspier
the foo fighters were pretty good i guess, they opened, i didn't think i would like it very much but they had a couple good songs towards the end. the guy liked to say fuck.
haha once bob came on stage though there was quite an obvious change in the smell of the place.
i said that to my dad and he was like "yeah do you know what that was?"
hes funny.
there were all these old guys just dancing around too, having the time of their lives. it amused me very much, they dance so funny!
overall it was really fun and amazing.
im so glad that i, jessica bass, have seen the bob dylan
