today while walking two tennis i saw two small birds swooping in these intricate patterns. i stood there in one spot, really still, just watching them for ten minutes. they seemed so happy, they were skimming the grass with the tips of their wings and then flying straight up in arcs.

it was probably the most beautiful thing i've seen in a while.
