..."Felt his arm brake"?
..."Kidnaped"?
I can appreciate the need for beta readers, but...this is above and beyond heinous. Now that my brain is oozing that special kind of FF.net acid, I'm extra glad I paid attention in AP English. It sure helps with the rewrites.
And yeah. I really did see someone spell "tortured" that way. Sad, isn't it?
