Brownies and I weren't meant to be.

I tried to bake brownies from scratch today. All was going well until I took them out of the pan and started cutting them. My knife sliced the middle and batter came oozing out. The slab pretty much followed the "done" description in the book, but looks are deceiving! I scraped the batter off my cutting board and froze it inside some containers. I think I'm going to try again when I wake up.

I am so glad that I stayed up baking to experience the storm. It's wonderful!
