Oh god, finally. The days without post are over ;___; at least, I think. I thought that'd be today, but noooo. I really really hope Kokoromori comes soon, or I'm going to start freaking out.
So a handful of english
Pokemon names were revealed. You know what? I'm good with most of them. I like Minccino better than Chillarmy, actually. :D Pidove has a bit of the same sound to it as Tepig does, where it really doesn't roll off the tongue, but it's not quite as bad, and it's their own fault for using the pidge- names on Pokemon that.. weren't pidgeons. Overconfidence --> Moxie I don't understand, since I didn't even know what Moxie meant and had to look it up, and I'm going to guess a lot of other people don't know what it means either. Why change something that... worked already? lol idk. I never understand a lot of the attack/ability name changes.
But.......
But....
BLITZLE?
Even after finding out that blitz means lightning in German (hey, don't laugh at me, it's been a looong time since I was in school), the name just sounds so stupid to me ;___; and of course, it's one of my favourites of the new Generation. I'm sure I'll adapt, but ughhhhh. It sounds too much like Blizten, and the "zle" only makes me think of sizzle, which is much more of a firey sounding word than an electric one. The name isn't very electric or Zebra-like at all! Hopefully they make up for it with Zebraika's name (Watch it just be Blitzebra, which would be okay I guess, but still sounds stupid). I mean, Blitzle sounds cute if I'm imagining a little tiny spark Pokemon or something, but not such an amazing Pokemon that deserved better. ; v ;
Siiighhh. If they mess up Kokoromori's name I will be so sad. ; v ; I usually stick to Japanese names for the human characters because I dislike a lot of the english names, but Pokemon is too hard... too many to learn, and no one knows what you're talking about if you use the names XD
