I've been playing Final Fantasy III again, since for some reason I took it with me even though I haven't played it in almost a year. I actually managed to figure out what I was doing and get myself unstuck, and now I've progressed a bit more. I'll beat it eventually.. it's just one of those games you have to pick at. Odin is still being a bitch though, Refia still can't steal the damn lance from him and she's level 63 now.

Since I got Rockman Zero (again) from Wiggy, I've been playing it a bit too, trying to get at least an A rank on every mission. So far I've only made it through the first 3 with A ranks, and I haven't managed to get any S's. Almost did, but god is it so hard not to get hit once. Crrraaazy. That game is crazy hard. But I refuse to see that ugly D-C rank. Nooo! My gamer heart just can't take it. I actually haven't played 2-4 at all, so I have to get those too.

Geoff took me to Pink Godzilla, a retro/import gaming store. It was really small and cute, and packed with lots of awesome stuff. I almost missed it, but I lit up when I noticed the Mother box displayed in the front counter. Fuck yeah it was so awesome.

We went out for Japanese last night. Actually, to be honest it was my first time really going out for Japanese. It was really good! I kind of gagged on the unagi I tried, but it was more the texture than the taste.. I still ate most of one, though. The miso soup tasted funny, and tofu is weeeird. I got breaded chicken katsu myself, and ate maybe half of the calamari appetizer. Violet wouldn't eat the octopus-shaped ones, so I ate those >_> It was weird, actually. Apparently there was unagi on the dragon rolls that her friend got, that she gave me one of before telling me there was eel on it.. I didn't have trouble eating that. I think I let mine go too cold before trying them. XD though, those had prawns too. Either way, Japanese food is definitely good. I had Indian at lunch with Geoff and his parents too, and I hadn't had that before either. It was also really good! Though I mostly ate rice and the dish that had potatoes in it, but I tried the other stuff. We had Red Mill for dinner tonight. It was really good! I even held my Canadian and general Jean-ness back by not asking for gravy or a knife and fork. Because I knew by one look at the menu that they wouldn't have either 8D Me, eating food with my hands..? Madness!

Geoff had an extra copy of Phantom Hourglass from getting his Zelda DS Lite, so I've been playing that too. Weird to get used to, but I really like it. Getting used to it makes it harder than it should be, I think. But I like the set up, and some things are made so much easier, like throwing things. I HAEV AIM. It's amaijing. Though, I really need to stop slashing bomb flowers when I go to pick them up. And Linebeck is as awesome as his reputation is.

I really need to play Beautiful Katamari tomorrow while I have the chance. I saw Geoff playing it and it looks awesome. *_* one of the only reasons I'd ever want a 360, but probably will never get one anyway.
