Alright, now for the happy entry.
As expected, Seattle really isn't all that different from Vancouver. It feels just like a home I've never been to, really. He picked up this awesome girl named Angela at some point and we played Tetris over wi-fi while Geoff made the rest of his way to Seattle. She really kicked my ass, like 17 to 6 or something, but that is newfangled add-a-few-useful rules Tetris. I wasn't used to it! But it really helped calm me down after what happened. We get along really well apparently, I'll have to get her AIM.
Geoff took us to his office to pick something up, then we went out to get Bubble Tea, which I'd never tried before tonight. Geoff recommended a flavour and I just went with it, and he took a phone video of my first-time-trying-Bubble-Tea face. I choked and almost gagged, fuck it was so weird and it must've been great because they got a kick out of it. I practically sniffed one of those tapioca things up my nose. I'm sure it'll make it's way onto the internet soon, so you all can laugh at me. It's also the last record of my old and out of date look before it changes tomorrow, as Angela so pointed out. After the initial surprise it was actually really good, and tasted better and better as I drank more of it. I actually managed to finish the whole thing, which is saying something for me. I usually can't finish big drinks.
Then we stopped back at his place for a rest. Fucking earned it, I'd say. Then we went out to the store and got food at Dick's, which was bizarre and like an AU McDonald's that actually isn't horrible. A good junky meal is always nice after an ordeal like that.
So I'm in his pants. And tomorrow is the big day! I've got to get to my hair dresser's appointment myself in a city I've never been to before because Geoff'll be at work, but he showed me the way before going to the store and I've got directions printed out, so it should be cool. I'm not that stupid. I just never go outside. I've gotta do some sketches when I wake up to show her what I want it to look like (you know, I've drawn the rough idea a couple times). Apparently she's really good. I'm fucking excited! Sounds like I can get the right colours done too. Aw man, I love Geoff.
A-and then, the concert...! Oh man. I'm totally psyched. Also, I'm staying until Sunday or Monday, which I know is going to be really unhealthy for my messages and art backlog... but I'm not art blocked anymore, so that shouldn't be a problem. Alright, I've made enough typeity noise and I'm dead tired. I'm sleeping on a gigantic body-molding bean couch tonight!
