A close friend of mine was up late last night sitting by her mother in paliative care. Her mother passed away early this morning while her daughter sat with her. Apparently she went peacefully. I'm glad my friend was able to be there for her mother. She's been living in South Korea for about a year and a half now and I think it might have been harder if she had been away. I'm going to stay with her for a few days along with another friend of ours and hopefully help in any way we can.
