Coldest winter in 15 years
So apparently this winter's going to be very cold with lots of snow. YAY! Today, that sounds fantastic! We had such a beautiful snow fall all day today and some of last night. It was really cold so the flakes were all light and fluffy. Very easy to shovel and it looked too beautiful to be real. For anyone who doesn't know, our first big storm of the year was last Tuesday. We got about half a meter of snow and it's still here and it's snowed a few times since, just not in such big amounts. So we have a lot of snow already. It looks so pretty! I wasn't so happy on Tuesday when they cancelled school so I couldn't work and had to shovel so much heavy snow, but today it's great.
Having a cold winter and this much snow this early feels very right to me. I remember when we used to have winters like this. I remember having snow before Halloween like we did this year and it seems right that we're having it now. To me it almost feels like climate change has been cancelled :) And that makes me happy, even though it's not true.
