Awww, he so loved them both, so very much.

This is great, and seriously, "Jeannie and Slim and Wolvie refuse to be good and have teh sex for me" never qualifies as whining in my book. Especially as I do enough of it myself!

I know, I know, I can't get these three into bed either. I totally cheated and wrote Ulitmate-verse fic. So you have my complete respect.

I love how Logan -- too many people say "oh, Logan was an animal before the X-Men," but, no, he was great friends with Mac and Heather whassername, from Alpha Flight. I loved Logan tried to move, because even he had enough of a sense of common courtesy to know he shouldn't be where he was, but he found he couldn’t.

Yup.

I think I was just saying this to one or both of you -- Logan's only a curmudgeonly loner relative to the potentially overwhelming family feeling of the Xmen. He wouldn't be the same guy if he didn't always have that place to come back to.

Since I'm just random-meta-central today -- I think it would be interesting to explore the idea that Logan and Emma are both initially hostile (on the surface), and (subtextually) attracted to the Scott/Jean relationship as something they don't think they're able to have in their own lives. With different fallout, of course.
