thank you for the screentimes! Clark had many scenes. I'm glad about that.
I have to say I enjoyed this episode and there were a few things I didn't like. Like Fake Lex! Not a good move...

Yeah, Fake!Lex is just UGH. I so wish they wouldn't go there.

4 minutes for Chloe? Ouch. She is just being shoved into a corner this season, and I don't like that at all.

Well, so far, there can be little arguement that Chloe has been marginalized. I mean, the numbers tell the facts.

Thanks for the screentime. The episode worked for me, but I can easily understand why it didn't for you. The "previously on" bit had me sick to my stomach with one Ollie scene after another and the last thing I wanted to see was a drunk!Ollie-centric episode. And the middle of the episode did feel very disjointed - reminding me a little of the problems I had with another BQM script, Bulletproof. But ultimately it worked for me, even with Clark apologising AGAIN. Maybe its the Clexer in me that thinks he regret so much what happened with Lex that he's determined not to see it happen again with Ollie?

I actually think its the Clexer in me that makes me dislike the Clark/Oliver stuff so much. Because I hate that they are trying to play out these themes with a character that Clark doesn't have the same emotional resonance with. I just end up resenting it.

And to be perfectly honest, felling very certain that I will never, ever see Oliver own up to what he did to Clark in DD, and never apologize for it, makes my ability to tolerate Oliver, much less emphatize with him, all but impossible. Clark may be the bigger man, but I'm not.

I just went and wrote my usual mini-thesis on the ep and then you go and sum it up perfectly? ;-)

Good to see Clark up there in ST'. But not the best of eps, sadly.

I thought about what I would write about this ep, and then it occured to me that I'd just be ripping on front top to bottom, and I just couldn't be bothered. Because the episode was so "Meh!", its just not worth my time and effort.

But yay for lots of Clark facetime. One of the saving graces of the ep.

I feel the same way as you do about the ep. And thanks for the screentime totals! Wow. What are they doing with Chloe? Oliver has almost the same amount with one less episode? And btw, someone at Ksite opened a ST thread with your numbers and a link back to your journal.

Yeah, I think Chloe fans have a genuine gripe so far this season. Hard to dispute that. And honestly, when she's on screen? I think her material is a pile of suck.

And I guess I'll have to go to K-Site and ask them to take it down then. *sigh*
