We have Kittens!
The kittens have arrived! They were dropped off here at 9:45am, and they hit the ground running. They've been exploring, and getting into everything, and checking out their new toys. My cat Duncan has given them the once over, and did a little hissing and growling (gotta show the young'ens who's the boss!), but so far he's content to keep a bit of distance. I think he's going to be perfectly fine with them in a day or two. They finally decided to take a nap just now. I've been trying to get pictures, but its been a challenge so far since they've been in perpetual motion. I'm rethinking the name for the little gray one. Atticus seems like such a serious name for a sweet little guy like him, so now I'm thinking of naming him Flynn. The little black one is most likely going to be Dashiell, Dash for short.
And just to add drama, my mother tripped last night and took a header into a nightstand. My sister took her to the emergency room, and she got a Cat Scan, and she's OK, but she does look like she went a few rounds with Mike Tyson. And since her eye is swollen shut, they'll be limited activity for her, and no driving. So, not only will I be dealing with kittens in the coming weeks, I'll also be on maid duty with mom.
And I'm still going to try and catch up on the Clark Kent picspam meme. I know I missed yesterday, but I think I had a pretty good excuse.
