Wow, its been a long time. Sadly, I don't have much to say these days. I guess all I had to talk about was Smallville, and I don't have that much more to say about that

Its been a long time since one could really discuss SV on K-Site and not have a dozen Clois fanatics jump all over you. It got boring.
And you can always discuss anything you want to here. I don't mind discussing the older stuff again. Last night I watched Run, from S4, and I was reminded how much promise there was in Clark meeting another budding superhero, with Clark taking on the mentor role. And then I think how askew that went later one, particularly when Oliver showed up. And then they tried to correct that by sending Oliver completely off the rails, and basically turning him into a pretty useless, whiny, mentally and emotionally unstable character. Run had it RIGHT.
I think more shows should have a finite number of seasons, and a definite idea of where they want to get to and end. As nice as it was to see Clark finally don the suit, and fly, I also think there's much to be said for the idea of SV ending with Clark leaving SV to travel the world, or train, or whatever. The show wouldn't have suffered from so much of the one-step-forward-two-steps-back thing that became the norm due to the necessity to drag out the story.
Don't know what the story is with TW. I just think the longer he doesn't work, the harder its going to be for him to jump back in.
Things have been pretty good. I'm not getting as much done this summer as I had hoped, but I'm going to the beach more, so there's that. ;)
